My body aches at the moment as I type this out. It's been a while since I've written a blog. Much so since the last blog site I used (it sounds like the name of a calculator function) is both old and there are things that don't allow me to use it anymore (what that or those reasons may be is for another blog entry).
For the last two weeks I've been going for gym sessions at Fitness First near our place in Al Dhiyafa. It was only last Thursday that I actually felt pain for the first time during my two weeks at Fitness First. I did pulls, pushes, all sorts of stuff and didn't really feel a thing. I went home, played WoW for a bit (World of Warcraft just for definition purposes) and went to sleep. It was then that my body didn't take it very well. I tried to toss and turn hours on end on the bed, but my arms were so busted because of the training that I couldn't even turn around properly. Morning came and so did the rest of the aching. My right arm was affected the most. So much so that I could only stretch it 3/4 the way my left hand stretches. Even so, I had to go to a KFC (Kids for Christ) activity that morning. I took a shower, in pain. I dressed up, in pain. I put my laptop in my bag, in pain, and lifted it up, with EXCRUCIATING pain. My mom picked me up, drove to Hamarain Centre where the activity was being held and got off the car, said bye and went in.
The KFC activity thankfully didn't even start yet. I arrived to a variety of different greetings (Meeko, Kuya Meeko... and I think even a Tito Meeko... not quite sure). It was a normal KFC activity like I was always used to. Songs, skits, a talk (given by yours truly), discussions among the kids so on and so forth. After the activity, I went along with a friend of mine Francis Tajanlangit to his place where we "planned" to WoW the entire afternoon (yes, it's a nound AND a verb). We listened to his dad's self-help CDs which really did help. Francis made me listen to a CD entitled "How to Ruin Your Life". It was both humorous and helpful. Basically all one had to do NOT to ruin his life was to listen to the tape and do the opposite. There were chapters entitled "Be the Centre of the Universe" or something like that and they all had very valid points.
We got to his house and I said hi to Peter, Francis's younger brother, and his other younger brothers. We got to talking about WoW and how it's changed so much over just one patch. Other topics ensued but they weren't as important as the topic on WoW. We ate lunch, DIY Tacos and Burritos (which I was concerned about because of Fitness First but not so concerned about because I was just hungry ><). Soon after, Francis and I decided to go along with Peter to their KFC activity (Ask me about the details later).
My arms are starting to hurt. To be continued...
